The number of wildfires burning across the province is now 47, with 8 of them considered uncontained.
Twenty-three of the fires are under ongoing assessment, 6 are where the focus is to protect property, and 10 are contained. There are air quality statements for the majority of northern Saskatchewan, excluding areas surrounding Reindeer and Athabasca Lake.
Meanwhile, wildfire season continues to cause havoc in British Columbia. Wildfire activity prompted an evacuation order on Saturday, affecting more than 400 properties.
