The inaugural flight from Saskatoon’s Airport to Minneapolis took off today.
The Saskatoon Airport Authority says the WestJet flight links Saskatoon with 120 possible connections in Minneapolis.
SKYXE had previously indicated that in 2022, the airport had recovered only 65 per cent from pandemic levels, and this new flight will help support the airport’s recovery and growth efforts.
The airline says the flight, along with increased WestJet connections to Calgary, will increase seats in Saskatoon by 50 percent over last year.
The flight leaves Saskatoon Monday-Wednesday-Friday at 7:10 a.m. coming back the same day leaving Minneapolis at 12:45 p.m.
