The number of wildfires across the province has dropped from yesterday’s 38 to 35.

As of 5:00am Sunday morning, six fires are contained, 14 are under ongoing assessment, eight are where the focus is to protect property, and seven are not contained.

There are air quality advisories for several northern communities including Pelican Narrows and Cumberland House, La Ronge, and creeping down to Prince Albert National Park.
