Two people are facing numerous charges from a serious assault investigation by the La Ronge RCMP. Around 6:30 in the morning on Wednesday, officers responded to an assault at a home in Hall Lake. From the investigation, it was determined a man had been confined and seriously assaulted. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The charges for 22-year-old Quintin Ross from La Ronge District and 21-year-old Sunset Henderson from Montreal Lake include attempted murder, forcible confinement, robbery and pointing a firearm. They are scheduled in La Ronge Provincial Court on June 26th.
