A 29-year-old woman is charged with assault and breach of probation following two assaults back on Saturday morning in the Fairhaven neighbourhood.
At about 10:30 a.m. on May 27, the Saskatoon Police Service responded to a 54-year-old woman having been struck by an unknown woman in the 400 block of Fairmont Drive. The suspect immediately fled, but while police were speaking to this victim, a second incident was reported nearby in the 300 block of Pendygrasse Road. A 38-year-old female victim reported a similar incident occurring as was the case with the first one, with the suspect fleeing on foot.
A suspect was taken into custody in the 100 block of Clancy Drive with the help of the Canine Unity’s Police Service Dog. The suspect was believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant.
