The Saskatoon Police Service arrested a woman on Saturday with the help of a member of the K9 unit.
Saturday morning at 10:30am, police were dispatched to both the 300 block of Pendygrasse Road and the 400 block of Fairmont Drive following separate reports of assault. Upon arrival, officers located the female suspect with help from neighborhood witnesses.
She fled the scene from police and was apprehended in the area of Clancy Drive and Fairmont Drive by a Police Service Dog. She was treated for what are believed to be minor injuries at the scene and is now being charged with common assault.
