Students at Saskatchewan Polytechnic will be showcasing their research projects at this year’s Applied Research Student Showcase taking place on Friday.
Over 72 projects will be on display, including research aimed towards improving clinical IV skills in nursing education, using drones to increase the success rates of search and rescue missions, using cloud computing to create meaning from large amounts of raw data, and analyzing the critical bond strength in resin rebar bolts. This year’s showcase will feature over three times as many projects as last year, with over 80 students taking part. The event is taking place at The Galleria Common at Innovation Place from 10:00am-3:00pm. Showcase winners will be announced at 2:45pm.
