There was an armed robbery of a gas station in Melfort late last Friday night.

Around 11:20pm, a man armed with a knife threatened an employee and left with cash and cigarettes. The man fled on foot heading east on Saskatchewan Avenue. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The suspect was wearing all black, including a face mask. The gas station attendant was able to see tattoos on his neck.
