For the second consecutive night, Sasktel customers in the northern part of northwest Saskatchewan will not have internet, wireless or landline service.
Crews conducted emergency maintenance between midnight and 6am today (Tuesday) on the transport network. However, more work is now required to repair a damaged section of cabling that was discovered by Sasktel crews earlier today.
The service will be out for the following communities between midnight and 6am on Wednesday:
-Beauval
-Buffalo Narrows
-Clearwater River Dene Nation
-Dillon
-Green Lake
-Ile-a-la-Crosse
-La Loche
-Patuanak
-Saint Georges’ Hill
-Sled Lake
-Waterhen River
-Waterhen Lake First Nation
RCMP says residents in the affected areas should visit their local detachment if they require police assistance during the planned outage.

- Dillon RCMP is located at 218 Sylvestre Street on Buffalo River Dene Nation.
- Ile a la Crosse RCMP is located at Parcel 6 on Lajuenesse Avenue in Ile a la Crosse
- Green Lake RCMP is located at 122 3rd Avenue in Green Lake.
- Meadow Lake RCMP is located at 319 1st Avenue East in Meadow Lake.
