Two elementary schools on the 200 block of Avondale Rd. & 200 block of Rosedale Road went into perimeter lockdown this morning [tues] following a report of a weapon having been seen. The schools went into lockdown at 9:30, after a student reported seeing a person with a gun in a park nearby. Police searched the area, but no firearms or suspects were located.
