The Royal University Hospital is now closer to its fundraising goal for much-needed new state-of-the-art equipment and other enhancements to the hospitals operating rooms, which were built in 1978, and built to hold the technology of the day. The Radiothon, which ran yesterday and today on CJWW and our sister stations 92.9 the Bull and 98 Cool raised $241,740
Your donations will put in the hands of RUH’s surgical teams what they need to save and improve more lives in Saskatchewan. The RUH Foundation says the hospital’s world-class surgical teams do many of the province’s most complex and specialized types of surgeries.
Some of the advantages of the new equipment are lowering the wait times for surgery, reducing the amount of time patients spend in surgery, administering strong pain medication more precisely and reducing the length of hospital stays.
