To the surprise of absolutely no-one, Connor Bedard is the unanimous mid-season top-rated prospect for the 2023 N-H-L Draft, according to a survey of 10 N-H-L scouts compiled by T-S-N’s Bob McKenzie.
Bedard was also the unanimous top choice going into this campaign. Three Saskatoon Minor Hockey products were among the 96 players ranked in the survey…Moose Jaw centre Brayden Yager at seventh, Prince George centre Riley Heidt at 22nd and Kelowna defenceman Caden Price at 38th. In additon, Saskatoon Blades’ defenceman Tanner Molendyk cracked the list at 62nd. The Draft is late June in Nashville.
