A Saskatoon-based geophysical company has announced acquiring Discovery International Geophysics, which also has a base in Saskatoon. Dias also has offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Chile and Mexico and Discovery has an office in Vancouver.

A news release from Dias says the acquisition is a positive change for both companies, providing a broader offering of technologies. President of Dias, Jonathan Rudd, says acquiring Discovery means having a larger and more comprehensive geophysical survey compay to provide better service to clients in the search of the metals and minerals that are in such great demand for the energy transition.
