RCMP say as a result of the ongoing investigation by its Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team, 39-year-old Kurt Miller was arrested in Edmonton on November 3rd and is in provincial court in Saskatoon next Wednesday.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Miller, who is from the RM of Glenside, when he failed to attend court to face drug trafficking and firearms charges.
On May 15th, 2020, RCMP conducted a search at a farm north of Biggar and seized 1,000 grams of meth, 44 grams of fentanyl, which equates to 4,400 single doses, over 3,000 millilitres of GHB, 500 Xanax pills and 400 tabs of LSD.
Officers also recovered several weapons including a semi-automatic assault rifle, a sawed-off double barrel shot gun, a spent light anti-tank weapon and a revolver, along with body armour.
From this investigation, two men were charged Kurt Miller and 49-year-old Mitch Hutchinson, also from the RM of Glenside. Miller’s charges include trafficking in meth and cocaine and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
