Meadow Lake RCMP responded to a report of a man in medical distress at a home on Waterhen Lake First Nation around 4:30 Saturday morning, who was later pronounced dead by EMS on scene. The 36-year-old man’s family have been notified. Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit and the Coroners Service have taken over the investigation, which is considered a homicide.

Anyone with information, or who may have witnessed anything on suspicious in the early morning hours yesterday (Sat) is asked to contact the police or leave an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
