Queen Elizabeth II’s State funeral is at Westminster Abbey tomorrow (Mon) with the procession beginning from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey at 10:44 a.m. in Britain.
They are 7 hours ahead of us, so that would be 3:44 a.m. in Saskatchewan and the funeral at 4 a.m.
This will be the first time a monarch’s funeral has been held there since 1760, but funerals for the Queen’s Mother and Princess Diana were held in the abbey – Diana’s in 1997 and the Queen Mother’s in 2002.
The Royal Family and world leaders will attend the service, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Following the funeral, there is a procession that will take the Queen’s coffin from Westminster Abbey to St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
She will be buried in the King George VI memorial chapel where her parents, her sister Princess Margaret and her husband Prince Philip are buried.
