A news release from the Saskatchewan RCMP says back in March, officers at the Saskatoon Detachment were told of an assault which happened in November of 2021 in the RM of Viscount. A 36 year old Nova Scotia man was charged on July 18th with a count each of assault, pointing a firearm, using a restricted weapon in a careless manner, and mischief. There is a Saskatchewan-wide warrant for Jeremy Mackenzie’s arrest.

RCMP say there is no evidence he is in Saskatchewan. Provincial Crown Prosecution is reviewing whether to extend the warrant beyond Saskatchewan.
