On the one year anniversary of his death, the Saskatoon Police Service is renewing its request for information in the homicide investigation of Kelly Dean Quewezance. In the early morning hours on August 22nd last year, firefighters were extinguishing a garbage can fire in the 600 block of Spadina Crescent West when they were approached by a passerby about an unresponsive man on a ramp at the Lions Skatepark in Victoria Park. Despite lifesaving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
Police say the autopsy later confirmed that 39 year old Quewezance was the victim of a homicide. Investigators are asking anyone who may know something to come forward. You can call the police or you can submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
