A local author has been chosen as the Saskatoon Public Library’s Writer in Resident for 2022-23.
Kristine Scarrow begins her residency September 1st and for the first time since the pandemic, in-person consultations will be back.
Scarrow is the author of four young adult novels – Throwaway Girl, If This is Home, The 11th Hour, and The Gamer’s Guide to Getting the Girl.
The SPL adds in a news release that she has also written numerous short fiction titles as well as poetry and creative non-fiction.
Scarrow has a special interest in writing as a healing art and offers writing workshops to individuals, schools and organizations.
She is currently working on another young adult novel and an adult fiction novel.
