A 35-year-old Regina man has been released from custody, on numerous conditions, following an appearance at the Regina Provincial Court to answer charges for possession and distribution of child pornography.
The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit arrested Zackary Bellegarde on June 10 following an investigation and subsequent May 3 search warrant of a residence in Regina. It was determined that was the location was where possession and distribution of child pornography through two popular online social media applications was occurring. Electronic devices were seized for further forensic analysis. Bellegarde faces two counts each of possession and distribution of child pornography and will make his next court appearance on July 28.
