A death on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation last week is being treated as a homicide.

The RCMP Major Crime Unit has released new information on the case, including the man’s name and where his body was found.

Chad Duncan Bird was located near House 612 on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation on Tuesday, June 7th. His name and location are being released because investigators want to speak with anyone who had contact with Chad Bird on either the 6th or 7th.
