Regina Public schools has taken its IT systems offline after experiencing what the school division calls a “network-wide incident” this past weekend. All of the internet based systems for Regina Public Schools like email, Atrieve and Edsby are offline.
The division says they will move certain work tasks and communications to pen and paper and they will have to adapt how they communicate with the community and parents. Telephone was suggested as a first course of action. The Regina Public School Division doesn’t expect the outage will significantly impact teaching and classrooms. As well they will post updates on the division’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
