Transit riders in Saskatoon will have to wear a mask for at least another month.

Earlier this week, City Council voted in favour of extending the mask mandate for Saskatoon Transit at least one more month.

City Council reconsiders the mandate each month. Currently masks aren’t required at City facilities but they’re encouraged.

Masks are available for free on buses.

Ten letters were submitted by residents to council. All were in favour of having the mask mandate continue on transit.
