A crowdsourced survey of over 800 Saskatchewan residents about their views on politics, the pandemic, and the economy indicates many people are on the fence.
A report from Research Co. says one of the most consistent answers at 25 per cent was “not sure” in response to whether or not the Saskatchewan Party or the NDP needed to rebrand.
Thirty-seven per cent agreed with the statement that “neither of the two major political parties in Saskatchewan truly represent my views.”
President of Research Co., Mario Canseco, says Premier Scott Moe’s approval rating is 50 per cent.
A majority of those polled, 63 per cent, will continue to wear a mask, even after the regulation to do so is lifted on Monday.
Fifty-three per cent are satisfied with how their municipal government has dealt with COVID-19, but it’s 48 per cent for the Saskatchewan government and 37 per cent for the federal government.
Less than half of those surveyed, at 43 per cent, trust the province to release accurate information about COVID cases and hospitalization rates.
Fifty-five per cent agree with the decision to cancel the proof of vaccination mandate.
