A full-sized outdoor rink is now open to the public in Wascana Park near the Legislative Building in Regina. The rink opened on Thursday and has professional boards, lighting, washrooms and warming facilities. Minister Responsible for the Provincial Capital Commission, Don McMorris says “This new state-of-the-art facility will provide visitors the opportunity to remain active this winter and enjoy some outdoor family entertainment on our very own Legislative grounds.” Visitors can use the rink seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It’s expected the rink will be open until the end of February.
