In a year in which forward Shane Wright from Kingston of the Ontario League is the consensus top player from North America in advance of the 2022 N-H-L Draft, there are plenty of local affiliations in the mid-term rankings released Wednesday by Central Scouting.

Saskatoon product and Seattle Thunderbirds’ defenceman Kevin Korchinski is the fourth-highest rated W-H-L skater on the North American list at 20th. There are four members of the Blades ranked…forwards Brandon Lisowsky, Egor Sidorov and Kyren Gronick are 87th, 112th and 131st, respectively, while defenceman Charlie Wright is rated 140th.
