With ICU numbers increasing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Saskatchewan Health Authority is introducing stricter measures for visitors. A news release from the SHA says that ICUs and cardiac care units in Saskatoon and Regina are now restricted to two family or support people with one only being allowed in at a time. There is no change for patients receiving palliative and end-of-life care. According to the SHA, the limitations will stay in place until it is safe to return to previous measures. The previous guidelines allowed for two designated people at a time.
