Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo began as the Sutherland Forest Nursery Station in 1913 to produce trees for farm shelterbelts and carry out horticultural research.
If you would like to hear more of the history, the Friends of the Forestry Farm House has organized a tour of this National Historical Site of Canada.
It begins at 2 today (Sun) on the front steps of the Superintendent’s Residence, which is the big brick house.
This is an outdoor activity.
Masks are optional, but encouraged.
