Two people were revived by Naloxone yesterday (thurs) morning after police and paramedics responded to a medical call at an apartment in the 100 block of Avenue U South. The report they had received, which came in around 7 a.m., was that a man was believed to be suffering an overdose. When officers arrived they found an unresponsive man and quickly administered Naloxone but while that was taking place another man in the apartment collapsed beside the first. Medavie Health Services had arrived at that point and administered Naloxone to the second overdose victim. Both were taken to hospital for further treatment.
