Several nationalities will be represented at a Saskatoon forum on genocide. Tonight’s event called “Perceptions of Genocide: Telling Our Stories, Owning Our History is tonight at the Frances Morrison Central Library on 23rd Street East. Panelists will include members of the Ukrainian, Jewish and Indigenous communities. The President of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights is a keynote speaker. John Young says understanding the world’s darkest events is part of the Canadian fabric as many survivors escaped to this country. The Saskatoon branch of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress is co-hosting the evening which includes a question and answer period. It starts at 7 o’clock.
