The City of Saskatoon says the opening of George Ward Pool, which was rescheduled to open Wednesday, has been further delayed until Friday.
The preseason maintenance requirements have been completed and the pool has been filled. However, during the annual start up and testing of mechanical equipment, it was determined that a water circulation pump will require replacement.
