Now that the snow is gone, hopefully until fall, the City’s line painting program is underway for the roads. The line painting crews will follow street sweeping in some locations, but they can get started on streets that are already partially swept or in pretty clear condition. If you see workers on the road, slow down and maintain a distance of at least 2-and-a-half car lengths between your vehicle and the equipment. If you happen to be following once of the line marker trucks, avoid driving on the lane lines or you could track wet paint over the roadway and onto your vehicle.
