The Saskatoon Fire Department’s investigation into a house fire on Capilano Drive in River Heights last night (Thurs) concludes that it was accidental, caused by spontaneous combustion from a rag containing linseed oil for staining wood. Damage is estimated at $200,000.
Fire crews were alerted just before 7 Thursday night and when they arrived, found a fire on the second floor, extending to the attic.
