One of the puppies born at the Police Dog Service Training Centre will be named by a Saskatchewan resident.

The RCMP has announced the winners of its 2021 Name the Puppy contest.
All of the names had to start with the letter P. Zach Ross of White City is one of 13 winning entrants and his submission was the name Pria.

Each winner receives a picture of the pup they named, a plush dog named Justice and an RCMP water bottle. Inspector Alana McLeod, Officer in Charge of RCMP Police Dog Services, says over 20,000 online entries were received.
