Regina Police were kept busy yesterday afternoon after a man in the 400 block of Albert Street pointed a firearm from a vehicle at another man just before 2 p.m.
Police then located the suspect vehicle a short while later at 6th Avenue and Angus Street and conducted a high traffic stop.
The two occupants, a 32 year old woman and 27 year old man were both arrested.
A search of the vehicle found a substance believed to be cocaine although no firearm was found. Further investigation led to a home in the 1400 block of Athol Street where a 39 year old man exited the house.
A firearm was not found although a machete was found on the 39 year old who was arrested and charged.
Brandon Thomson is charged with possession of a scheduled substance, fail to comply, and pointing of a firearm.
Kara Benson is charged with assault with a weapon and Jason Worm is charged with possession of a weapon.
Thomson and Worm made their first court appearances today while Benson is scheduled in court May 28th.
