Retail sales in Canada rose 0.4 per cent January to February. Saskatchewan did slightly better than that, increasing 0.6 per cent. Only two provinces were higher: Ontario at 0.7 and Nova Scotia at 3.2. Year-to-year, Saskatchewan only rose 0.9 per cent. The national average was an increase of 3.5 per cent. Three provinces fared worse than ours. Retail sales in Saskatchewan in February totaled $1.65 billion.
