Three people are facing numerous charges following a massive search and an extensive investigation by the Regina Integrated Crime Reduction Team, which includes members from Regina Police and the RCMP. On December 17th, officers searched ten properties and five vehicles related to a firearms manufacturing investigation.
Properties were searched in the villages of Fillmore, Lebret, and Saskatchewan Beach, as well as the Rural Municipality of Lajord and six properties in Regina.
Police allege that the searches turned up equipment used to manufacture firearms, various firearm components, a complete manufactured firearm, with full automatic capabilities, ammunition, and various electronic devices. Approximately 50 cartons of illegal cigarettes and $4,500 in cash were also seized.
Thirty-eight year-old Gregg Joshua Meyer of Fillmore, Nineteen year-old Gauge Meyer of Regina and Thirty-six year-old Tamara Eiler of Regina are facing weapon charges.
