Police are searching for multiple suspects after a robbery early Monday morning.
The Saskatoon Police received a call of an injured man at 1:34a.m., in the 2800 block of Preston Ave South.
Patrol officers arrived and located a 29 year-old man suffering from a head injury. The victim states he was attempting to have a cigarette when he was approached by approximately 10 men all who are believed to be between the ages of 16-20. Two of them reportedly became aggressive with the victim and started assaulting him. A third suspect produced a knife but did not harm the victim. They then stole his wallet and were last seen west bound on Wilson Crescent. The suspects are not known to the victim.
K-9 attended but was unsuccessful in locating the suspects.
Medavie Health Services transported the victim to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The two suspects that assaulted and robbed the victim are described as follows:
Suspect 1: A Caucasian male between the age of 16-20, wearing all black clothing.
Suspect 2: A Black male between the age of 16-20, wearing a grey hoodie.
The victim was unable to provide a description of the suspect with the knife.
