Would shutting off oil and gas shipments get BC’s attention? According to Premier Scott Moe, it would. Moe says he’s strongly considering joining Alberta in shutting down oil and gas shipments to British Columbia if John Horgan’s government continues to strongly oppose the project. Moe says BC shouldn’t be fighting the feds on this project. He says this is clearly the federal government’s jurisdiction. Moe says if Alberta and Saskatchewan were to cut off British Columbia from neighbouring fuel loads, it might finally get their attention.
