FreshCo opens its third Saskatoon store Friday at Market Mall taking over the old Safeway site. The stores are described as having competitively priced product which includes a significant variety of multicultural items for residents of Saskatoon. There is also a pharmacy available.

FreshCo is sanitizing its carts and other high touch surfaces repeatedly, daily. Staff are expected to wash their hands every 15 minutes, there are physical distancing markers on the floor, protective shields at work stations, gloves and masks for employees and the number of people in the store will be limited to ensure physical distancing.

In honour of the opening the store has donated $2,500 to the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre to help with emergency food basket services.
