The Saskatchewan N-D-P resumed its inquiries and attacks Tuesday about a proposed hyperscale A-I data centre in Sherwood by accusing Premier Scott Moe and the Saskatchewan Party of withholding key details.
In a news release, the New Democrats say the government blocked a motion calling for the release of a memorandum of understanding tied to the project, and denied a freedom of information request for related documents.
The N-D-P is also demanding the government reveal the locations of more than 30 other proposed data centre developments it says are under review.
Opposition Leader Carla Beck and tech critic Brittney Senger argue the public deserves consultation on projects that could affect power rates, the environment and local communities.
