For the second time in less than two weeks, Saskatchewan RCMP have sent a news release about someone in a vehicle impersonating an officer.
Coronach RCMP report that around 7:30pm last Friday, a motorist reported seeing a pickup truck with red and blue lights driving erratically. The driver pulled over on the shoulder, but the pickup truck did not stop and drove away at a high speed. The truck was described as a white or light-coloured Ford F-150 with a crew cab. The driver was a man with short grey hair. Coronach is located a couple of hours south of Regina, near the US border.
On October 13th, a red SUV with blue and red flashing lights, pulled over a truck near Lancer, about an hour northwest of Swift Current. The RCMP was able to determine the owner of the vehicle, who was issued a ticket for “equipping a non-emergency vehicle with emergency equipment.” Police also seized two sets of imitation lights that were in the suspect’s possession
