Fire crews were called to a house fire just before noon Friday morning in Saskatoon.

As fireighters arrived in the 700 Block of Weldon Avenue, they spotted some light smoke coming from the home.

Three engines, one ladder, one rescue and a battalion chief were called in.

The fire has since been completely extinguished, and a search confirmed all occupants safely evacuated.

A fire investigator is now on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
