Maidstone RCMP were out over the Thanksgiving long weekend conducting road checks as part of Operation Impact.

Between October 7th and the 11th, officers conducted 169 mandatory alcohol screenings.

Thirty-one vehicles were impounded with five alcohol-related offences and 26 involving drugs.

A total of 119 tickets and 238 warnings were also issued. This was just one portion of the provincial weekend RCMP enforcement. Full results are expected later this week.
