Starting today, crews will be heading to Saskatoon’s leafiest neighbourhoods to help keep streets clear of leaves and reducing the potential for spring flooding.
This year includes Nutana, Holiday Park, Varsity View, Mayfair, Buena Vista, Riversdale, City Park, King George, Exhibition and Caswell Hill.
Residents can check when their street is scheduled to be swept at saskatoon.ca/sweep.
Cam LeClaire, Roadways Manager, said, “Leaves that accumulate along streets can clog storm drains and catch basins, creating a risk of flooding when the snow melts.”
