Eight new housing units are under construction in North Battleford to ease the homeless situation in that city.

The single detached home will consist of eight units, each with a bedroom and private bathroom. There were be a shared kitchen and programming space for residents. The building is expected to be finished early next year.

It’s a partnership between the provincial government and the Battlefords Indian Metis Friendship Centre.
