Biggar RCMP are looking for a prisoner who fled from the local detachment while being transferred out of a police vehicle.  

On Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., 34-year-old Joshua Meszaros ran away after being arrested earlier that day for breaching a release order condition and driving while prohibited. 

Later that same day, RCMP received a report of stolen motor bike. The motor bike is described as a CRT 250. The top of the motorcycle is black and the bottom is blue. It has Rockstar energy drink stickers on it. Investigation determined the theft occurred around 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.  

As a result of continued investigation, Meszaros is facing two charges, including escaping lawful custody, and theft under $5000.  

 Joshua Meszaros is five feet ten inches tall, 215 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. 

If you see him, do not approach him. Report all sightings to RCMP or Crime Stoppers. Biggar RCMP continue to investigate.
