A third person has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of two people found early last Tuesday morning in Regina.

According to a Regina Police Service news release, 30-year-old Faizon Alexson will appear in Regina Provincial Court tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 9:30 a.m. to face two counts of second degree murder, four counts possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

On August 11th, R-P-S officers were dispatched to a call for service on the 1100 block of Elphinstone Street at 4:30 a.m. and located two deceased individuals, a 42-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man outside a residence. Two other people have already been arrested and charged in this homicide investigation – 19-year-old Patricia Stevenson and 42-year-old Rose Sparvier. Regina Police say the investigation is continuing and, at the request of the families, the names of the victims will not be released.
