Sandy Bay RCMP has determined that the death of a 19-year-old man was the result of an altercation with multiple suspects.  

On Sunday at 4:35 a.m., officers received a report of an injured man at a home in Sandy Bay. Police arrived to find the man, who was declared dead at the scene by medical professionals.  

He has been identified as 19-year-old Silvino Grenier from Sandy Bay. Investigators have identified a black SUV believed to be involved, and residents are being asked to check their home security cameras and doorbell cameras for video recorded between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on August 16 and report any suspicious activity to police. 

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers. There will be an increased police presence in the Sandy Bay area for an undetermined amount of time.
