The City of Saskatoon has ratified a new contract with the union representing 130 unionized water and wastewater treatment workers.

CUPE Local 47 says there will be a 13.5 per cent wage increase over the five-and-a-half year deal. Other highlights include an additional two days of accumulated sick leave, a 10 cent increase each year for shift differential and weekend premium, as well as a $3 per hour market adjustment for trade classifications.
